Returning to School

For most high school students, going to school everyday is the same ole' same ole'. We have it made perfectly but we complain. The Sandy Hook Elementary students aren't complaining. Since the massacer, they have built a new school outside of town for the students to attend. They even name it Sandy Hook Elementary. As for me and my fellow classmates, we started back at school on January 3. All I heard from everyone was complaints. Do we really have a reason to complain? The Sandy Hook Elementary students also started back that day and they were excited about it. They have every right to attend the "safest school in America." I couldn't agree more. The students parents ID's are checked as they drop students of and parents are allowed to stay through the day at the school. The parents have every right in the world to do this. The students went through so much and so did the families. They deserve to be in a place where they know they are safe and cannot be harmed once again.

The students at Sandy Hook deserve to feel normal again. They deserve to move on with their lives and look to the future. The students at the school are sticking to the regular schedules just like a normal day. Although the students may never be "normal" again, they have the right to enjoy the life that God has given them and they deserve to be happy. No one should be able to deny them these things. The Sandy Hook elementary surviviors are truely examples of heros due to their willingness and faith in life and in school.
